Seriously? - You cannot be for real Posted: Jul 11th, 2019 - 12:13 am In Reply to: how can you show compassion to someone that - is in a sinking ship?
Thank you, Captain Obvious. How do you know that they AREN'T looking for other jobs? You do realize that there ARE areas in this country where it may take some time to find a job, right? Or maybe, after years of working from home, they don't have the proper attire to wear to an interview for a job that is available in their area. Or gas money. Or a reliable car. You don't KNOW what their situation, WHY they are still there, or WHAT THEY ARE DOING ABOUT IT. Therefore, you coming on here complaining and stating the "truth" as if they are totally inept and unable to see it is a waste of everyone's time! And in response to your question of how you show compassion to someone in a sinking ship - you throw them a life preserver if you can. You certainly don't tie concrete blocks to their ankles to help drag them into the depths of depression even faster.
