MT has not been my only profession, just the profession of the past 20 years.
I was in claims prior to that, an executive assistant prior to claims.
Those skills are a bit outdated (except for MS Office skills - I still have those), but am not familiar with any newer office technology beside MS Office.
My county does post for legal transcription jobs in our various courts (which is a scopist position and they called me about previously but I decided against), so I may apply for one of those positions the next time they post.
The thought of getting in an office again though .... so daunting!
