Get a resume together, and start making phone calls to doctor offices, law offices, insurance agents, etc. It gets easier as you go, but prepare ahead of time what you want to say, what you want to do, etc. Consider self employment, put together a brochure about yourself and what kind of services you would offer, and so forth. I know phone books are to some extent a thing of the past but it is still possible to locate a phone book and start going through the yellow pages. Be proactive and good luck!
