When the only other option is being unemployed and broke, etc., getting out there and doing whatever you have to do to make a living is a better choice.

If there is a temp agency in your town, GO there with your resume in hand. (If you simply fax or email your resume, that will go in a pile and be buried amongst hundreds of others.)

Spruce yourself and your resume up and get out there. I had to do that eight years ago and got lucky. I had to buck up my courage and go, had to fake it 'til I made it, but it was worth it.

Even though we don't know each other, I KNOW you can do this. Anyone tough enough to become a transcriptionist is tough enough to conquer this next step.

You're likely only two-thirds of the way through your life, and it's time for your next phase of a career. You MIGHT find something that you could enjoy at least sometimes, and it would be better pay than nothing!
