I have problems at times with the VDI. Sometimes in the middle of a report, I get no sound, have trouble signing in-have to stop, shut down for 10 minutes. It is so strange, some days no problems at all, and other days problems the whole day. I would suggest you go back to school, but stay in medicine-a radiology tech, phlebotomist etc. I would NEVER start transcription now, but when I started in the late 70s through until voice rec., and outsourcing, I made really good money with excellent hospital benefits. Now? Uggh.
