MTs don't like to be criticized, corrected, anything alluding to the fact that our work is not as perfect as we'd like to believe. I know, I'm one of them. :-) However, I quit arguing a long time ago because I finally accepted that I'm imperfect, as is my work, no matter how hard I try, and, unfortunately, QA are the people who point that out. I don't bother to argue about it unless I can prove I'm right, for what good that does. No way could/would I do QA's job, for any amount of money. You know, of course, the #1 requirement for being an MT is b*tching about everything, including being hung with a new rope, and QA is just one of the many things that qualify. I wonder what would happen if QA were done by a robot instead? We'd still b*tch about it.
