Ooma phone service (through the Internet) is reliable and only between $4 and $6 per month. (Once you buy the Ooma box to set it up, then after that, they only charge state taxes---never more than about $6 a month.) Though cable always pushes their "bundles" (TV, Internet, phone) with Ooma, plus what AT&T calls "stand-alone Internet" (about $50 per month), it seems more economical than cable "bundles". Also Page Plus cell phone service is only $13 per month.
