What makes you think Nuance would need to do this to undercut other MTSO's prices?
First of all, it is illegal, that's not profitable. I think we can all agree Nuance cares more about profit than anything else.
Second, Nuance doesn't need to hack your PC to figure out which accounts your MTSO has. Think about this for a second. Nuance knows the accounts they have and which ones they don't have. They also know the relative size of any account based on the number of doctors, beds, etc. That means Nuance salespeople are already attempting to steal accounts over a certain size from every other MTSO. VDI does not need to be involved. Furthermore, many accounts have no problems telling salespeople who their current vendor is and what price they pay.
Third, even if we assume you're correct. That doesn't give Nuance the amount your other MTSO gets from the account. Do you, as an MT, have access to that info on your PC? Probably not.
Fourth, what other MTSOs charge is irrelevant to Nuance. All Nuance cares about is what combination, if any, of features, services, and pricing it takes to get the facility to sign up. This is all part of the sales negotiation.
