That is totally illegal. You would have real legal grounds if that happened. It is true though, they can access your computer anytime and look at e-mails, pictures, etc. I had an employer do this and the dept of Labor and Industries told me that they had to NOTIFY YOU FIRST in writing that they were going to do that. We had a hearing and they were asked if they NOTIFIED ME IN WRITING and they said no. Just know your rights.
