N access whatever they wanted whenever they wanted, without having to notify them further. The MTs, by signing that contract, also agreed to let N review anything at all they wanted to review, at any time, and the MTs agreed to assume full legal and financial responsibility for any problems regarding whatever Nuance did with that information.

I refused to sign the contract.

While I agree with you on many levels, MTs signing that contract already gave N a lot of power and permission.
