I noticed when hospitals started getting snatched up by managed care organizations/corporations that they all began slashing costs, anything they could get away with. That was many years ago. And still, they continue to push the limits with staffing from patient-to-RN ratios to ancillary departments, etc., etc. So, I believe the hospitals are the ones who initially started this tsunami that's literally swept us off our feet and our work overseas. The MTSOs are just kind of in it for the ride...
