Regarding your sentence "... the more I was able to move through, even if I had a bad QA here or there, my volume would absorb it," my manager told me something similar. I took pride in usually getting 100% QA, but lph wasn't great. After my TM told me to focus on lph and not worry about the minor errors because increased lines would help the QA percentage, my QA went down but I was praised for increased lph. Quantity over quality. That's when I started looking for another career but was laid off first.
