I was told that also by another MT. Well this MT believes that patient care comes first, and I guess that will be my downfall. What kills me is that even if QA finds something "critically" wrong, the MT will suffer dearly monetarily; however, almost never is a corrected report sent back to the facility (at least with the big N). I keep waiting to hear about an increase in malpractice suits and errors in medical records, but I guess since most of them get settled out of court, we just don't hear about them. It's just so sad.
