Not sure how many are out there, would love to know. But so would we all, right?
IMO those companies might be able to pick up some more accounts as the current companies lose people who won't/can't install VDI. Not everyone can pay to have things added to their computer for Nuance's convenience or buy another computer to use for work only.
Seems like TAT could go out the door and maybe, just maybe some of these facilities will realize getting out from under Nuance is a good thing.
There were be lots of us out there waiting and willing to work for those MTSO if this should happen. The spring off companies that are doing Nuance handouts are having to follow all Nuance rules, QA, Fiesa and now this VDI stuff.
I have applied for some other type of jobs and will probably be leaving the MT field either permanently or until the downfall of Nuance.
Feeling bitter about the downfall of a profession I was always so proud of.
