time are compensated by being "built in" to your line rate? That is the biggest crock of BS I've ever heard. So why is it called production-based pay then? I'm only earning when my fingers are moving, so looking things up and taking a break are UNCOMPENSATED time. We are not idiots. Demographics have become production killers too, verifying encounters, signing clinician, making sure copies go to the correct MD office or Fax #. So frustrating.
