I am an IC, so I have the luxury of proofing my work. Between my wireless keyboard not always recognizing that I'm depressing a key, or wireless connection acting up, or I'm typing too fast for a run-of-the-mill processor to deal with, I DO proof my work. I prefer to keep my job and quality will ensure that. But, if it is for the same doctor who never tries to be understood or you can tell that he doesn't give a hoot about quality, then no, I won't proofread.
