VR refers to voice recognition, which means voice.

I am NOT familiar with iMedx Editor, but I have worked on Fluency, and it is a FANTASTIC platform developed by M*Modal. Success also depends a lot on your shortcut and navigation skills and if you have a GOOD shortcut program such as Shorthand 10 or Instant Text 7 Pro. I personally use Shorthand 10 and use it for both VR as well as straight typing.
