In addition to the misery we are put through, the lack of work, the lies we are told, the audits stealing our hard earned money, the lack of respect from our employer, also staying in this field for 20+ years has been very isolating and lonely. It was fine when my son was young and needed me but now that he is out of the house, I feel totally isolated and depressed. Since Nuance has been treating us like second class citizens, they have eaten away at my self-confidence, and between my age and the anxiety about going out into the world to find something else totally overwhelms me. I feel hopeless.
