The POC team is likely paid less than a supervisor. So, they reduce the number of supervisors, giving each one more work to do, then they use the POC to monitor some of the work. It became even more cost effective when the overnight people were from India. Now, I still do not know the benefit of the POC team. I would find it supremely irritating to be contacted in Spark that there were some reports on my secondary account if I were free from my primary. If I were free from my primary, I would automatically go to my secondary but I will admit I have no idea of the other duties of the POC team.
