I work 3 jobs so I can have a decent life, yet I don't begrudge those who have partners to help them or for whatever reason do not have to worry about every penny. I am single by choice now, and I would gladly work my head off not to have to count on the person I was married to for my support, but that is another story and not the issue here. MT is definitely not the moneymaker it used to be, but I kick myself for not seeing the writing on the wall and acting sooner to try to find another way to support myself. I should have finished college 100 years ago when I had the chance, but that is certainly no one else's fault but my own. I consider myself fortunate to have the jobs I have and I just pray that I can keep it all going. I truly am sorry for your situation -- no one should have to live in fear of going hungry, not having the basics for shelter, etc. Several years ago, I thought I was going to be homeless, and it was terrifying. I hope something better comes your way.
