The ER here has scribes and I looked into it. Pay was $11 per hour for 12 hour shifts. Had to pass vision and hearing tests and realize you would be on your feet chasing an ER doc all night. No thanks. By the time I paid for work clothes and shoes, gas for car, I would be making less than what I make here. Will just hang in until next year and retire and then maybe stay PT to pay for Medicare supplement.
