I don't think I would be coming on this particular board, which they do not advertise on for obvious reasons, and try to defend a pay rate of 7 cpl for ICs, when there are companies paying employees more than that, and expect to get any understanding or respect at all from these MTs......just saying, I would have known better. ICs deserve to make more. They need it for taxes and insurance which are not being provided to them. How anyone pay an IC less than employees are getting paid and call their rate "competitive" is beyond me. You can "care about us" all you want, it doesn't change the fact that you are part of the problem in driving wages down even further which hurts the whole industry, employees, clients and employers.
