As one the owners of Integrity HD, I couldn't let this post go unanswered. I would agree 100% with those of you who feel that compensation for medical transcription in general is not fair these days. John and I have been in this business for over 30 years, so we have definitely seen the drop in pay that has happened. If we could pay our MTs more, we most definitely WOULD, and our hope is to do that at some point in the future. But, for now, our hope is to at least provide a reasonable, decent place to work. So, I hate seeing any implication that we are anything but that. We DO care about our MTs, and we do what we can to provide a positive, supportive environment. We don't post our per line pay on our ads because we feel that gives information out to our competitors that we do not want them to have. However, we don't send people to testing without giving them plenty of information first. We would hope that when you invest in the testing it is because you would value a position with us. We are posting on MT Jobs regularly because we ARE hiring, and we DO need folks to work for us - because we are growing. Please know that we are not trying to deceive anyone, and we are certainly not trying to devalue anyone. We are just trying to stay afloat in this business like everyone else is, and continue to strive to make it a good place to be.
