It doesn't make them bad grapes. Companies, even doing the same work, are not one-size-fits-all. I work for this company too, I've been here for a while as well. I have always been left alone to do my work and have never felt disrespected until recently. I asked a question through email to a higher-up and received the rudest reply I have ever gotten from an employer in my life. It had nothing to do with what I even asked, just clearly misplaced anger. Yes, gossip does happen everywhere, but the problem is when these companies can't tell the difference between the MTs who really care about their job and their work and are doing the best they can 100% of the time and those who don't, and they treat everyone equal. It's a really easy way to end up with nothing. Someone could have a bad day/week etc., have just gotten an email like I got and come on here. It doesn't mean they're sour grapes or the problem, and honestly, the way you're reacting to people sharing their concerns is only contributing to this issue. Everyone here is dealing with the same thing, working as an MT in an evolving industry, the least we can do is support each other.
