Skyscription check-in - Trying to decide as well

Like you I have another PT job outside of MT and thank the lord I do, otherwise I would be a wreck about what is going on. This job is barely a job in so many ways, namely the money. You transcribe a 1000 lines and it is $40.00. Big whoop!

I have decided to just bide my time and see what develops, but I am not giving one extra inch to anything. Just transcribe and that's it. If I get a bad audit and they fire me, so be it.

This just isn't worth it. I feel this company has a lot of nerve (well actually they all do) asking us to do what they do and pay what they pay. I have worked an an IC for another company for almost 6 years and have never received a raise; only to see my cpl go down from 8 to 7 and got that huge lie about you double your lines with voice! That pays 4 cpl and no I don't do double the lines as it is such a mess to clean up and I can't see any improvements.

So do what you feel is best. Don't want to give it up as it is your "pin" money, then stay and just work the best you can and go from there. If it proves to be too much, then leave. You have a "real" job, don't forget that.
