I don't bother with IT anymore - all smiles

Calling IT or putting in a tech support request is an absolute waste of time.

However, I will call IT to document that I cannot work at all and need assistance. Then I have documented the problem and can fall back on the fact that I did document and do what was needed to be able to work.

I'm certain they are very happy for us to stop calling.
