So pleased to read you were able to leave the cesspool earlier than planned. From things you had posted, I think we were in the same pod.
I had to laugh when reading about the typewriters and using carbon paper. I started out as MT in 1976 when this was a lucrative job, and I absolutely loved it. I would never have believed things could turn around so completely. I applied for SS in January as soon as I could within a 3-month window of turning 62. I am leaving in May and am literally counting down the days on a counter sitting on my desk.
I'm truly happy that you don't have to deal with all the crap this company has been dishing out and soon I won't have to either. Good luck with everything!
