It's just another (evil) way for them to take money out of our paychecks and into their pockets. It stinks, it is unethical, but it's the truth. I dare them to try to say it's for "patient safety" - that is major BS.
I'm glad to know that there just might be some good in-house MT jobs left, though I know they are probably pretty rare, so hang onto that one and hope Nuance doesn't come swooping in.
