If we were holding out to paid our worth, none of us would have jobs. This line of work has tanked out, due to so many things. As for looking for another job, go ahead and give it a try, but it is truly ugly out there. Best thing, don't look for an MT job, do something else.
It is also becoming IC positions only with a lot of demands as well.
It is only up to you; either stay and make the best of it, look elsewhere and take your chances or just plain get out. That is only solution I can think of to solve the problem.
