Transcription has been gone so long, do you really think they would set up new departments and what about staffing? Most of the MTs who worked in hospitals are now retiring or just got out. Sure, there are newbies out there, but I just can't see it happening. Most of the doctor's office and clinics don't want to mess with hiring either and most them use to say, they couldn't find MTs to work in their offices.
I hope it comes back, maybe enough for some, but not like it was at one time. The only good thing, I would love to see it happen and put these horrible companies out of business.
