I finally got the foot pedal working. The pedal was not recognized by the computer when I plugged the device into either of the two USB outlets on the side of the computer. Only when I plugged the device into the USB port on the BACK of the computer did the computer accept the device and loaded the necessary drivers for the pedal and then show it as a device in operating order. I then logged in and went to TOOLS, OPTIONS, AUDIO and clicked on the appropriate type of pedal and it worked THANK GOD! Hope this helps you out. Very strange that it would not work in the two side ports, but plugging in the back USB port worked.
