Has anyone tried to apply for a mortgage lately as an IC? I did a search and the only thing I found seems to be dated 2007. Things have changed since then. Even though I don't make much, we would need to count it and a couple of mortgage companies I talked to said I have to be an IC for 2 years before it would count so they can see the trend. I have been doing this for 10 years mostly as an employee but have only been an IC for 6 months. Can anyone share a mortgage company name if you have had any luck with this? Thank you in advance. Jan
