But ... what I've read here so often is that MTs complain when 100% of the blame is placed on them, yet they turn around and place 100% of the blame on the doctor (I don't mean you, based upon what you typed in your message).

From my perspective, if I'm not able to understand something but QA can, then I'm responsible. If neither I or QA or any other MT can understand what the doctor said, then the doctor is responsible.

As a side note, it's one of the things I love about SpeechMotion (the revamped ChartNet). If I leave a blank and QA can understand it, I just have to check my QA queue. I can d/l the transcribed job *with* the voice file and give it a listen. Helps minimize errors on some dictators and it has been a wonderful learning tool.
