Yes, they teach to the higher credentials, but that is not the reason.

You can only apply if you are a program that qualifies for federal financial aid. Basically, that means colleges are in and programs like Andrews are out. Previously, AHIMA was approving noncollege programs, quite a lot of them, but they dropped them when their approvals expired. Except for one, which happens to be a "platinum donor." No surprise there.

See? Not very exciting at all.

The approved schools do seem to go only to the CCA, but the real reason, I believe, is that Andrews just didn't apply. Good thing for you, because the school is so small the tuition would have had to go up to absorb the expense.
