I worked as a 1099 employee, contractor, for nine years...who ended up being caught by the IRS. Because she dictated when we were to work, she was fined over 20k dollars and ALSO had to pay all back taxes, as she was in that capacity treating us as employees, not contractors. Really, please do your homework before informing others wrongly.
