"Wanda" negative in a surgical note - NLM

Wrapping up a c-section. The MD states "Final counts were correct with Wanda negative." Google search yields nothing pertinent. My abbreviation and surgical reference books do not have this term. Is it a wound criteria? Zilch.

Might be "wand' negative, I read somewhere - about a wand they pass over

Wand means radiofrequency wand passing over to search for - needles, etc., left behind.

Thank you. To my ears she said "Wanda" in 2 different delivery notes. It might have referred to the wand as in the last response on this thread. Unfortunately I rarely transcribe OB/GYN delivery notes but I'll keep in mind your responses. Thanks again.

OK..... It's an orthopedic chart note. Patient has a chief complaint of hip pain. Dictated: He has a negative [s/l fair, fairs, varus?] sign, a negative fabere sign. It doesn't sound like fadir; I'm not hearing that "d." I already had to leave two medication blanks and hate to leave another one for an orthopedic sign that I feel like I should know! Thank you in advance for your help and ideas! ...

The name of the procedure sounds like either "dine-ee" or Gine-ee." (I can't tell if it starts with a 'D' or a 'G' with the way he's pronouncing it. He dictates the patient had a hysterectomy, BSO, adhesions that required correction, removal of her gallbladder, and what sounds like a "dine-ee" (or "gine-ee") procedure.
