Everyone on this board moans about how much they hate MModal and how horribly they're treated, but when given the opportunity to make the company squirm in a crisis, you all lick their boots and can't wait to help them out with the "incentives", which are impossible to meet, so you are working for the same nothing you always make.  I'm done with this board.

Big deal. If they really wanted to clear out the backlog and not have their customers wait for reports, why not pay us incentive for ALL the reports we type.No minimum required. they aren't doing us any favors, they are still making their big bucks and us little peons are helping the powers that be get richer.

Now, I have 2-1/2 days of an extra 3 cpl which will help greatly since I had no work for 3 weeks. I think I might be able to put food on the table next pay day!

That 3400 is for you, mine was lower. Some have very high ones, some are very low. I did not assign them, and I have no clue how they are calculated.

They averaged lines produced per hour for 6 weeks and if you took vacation that actually dropped your line count. Or you cannot produce more than 100-150 per hour and your lines were calculated at the minimum. Either would explain your extremely low number. Glad at least someone is going to make money during this incentive. Since mine was so high I opted out. Only Mmodal rewards the low producers and encourages the high producers to stay on the sidelines.

Maybe it is because I had NO WORK in December, but either way, dont accuse me of being a low producer. I never get rewarded from this company. I have had 4 pay cuts and no raises since 2000. My last paycheck was under 200 for 2 weeks because of no work. Now excuse me if I jump on and get some work, I need food in my house.

It states that if your number is below the minimum lines required for your job classification then your goal is the minimum lines for your job classification. I take that as meaning if they give you a goal of 1500 lines, but you are a FT employee your goal would really be 3600 lines before the bonus kicks in. Correct me if I am wrong. They do not make it easy do they.

I am pretty sure there will be no work on Monday, and having been out of work for over 3 weeks, I really needed some lines. I just decided that I needed to get it before its gone.

gotta love the target they set,,,I have never hit that line count..wonder where they got that from? Like I say, dont care, I dont work any harder then normal any way...have a good one all..

It has an individual target for each MT, along with all the convoluted formulas for arriving at it. Usually it comes out to about what you make in 2 days, so you would have to work 2 full days and then anything over and above that, you get the 3 cents per line, which most don't feel is worth the effort.

like 12-13 hours work so not quite 2 days. But if you work 8 hours on Monday anyway there are 8 hours already done, so you would have to work an additional 4-6 hours spread over 3 days before it kicked in. So you if you work 4 hours each Saturday and Sunday and say 2 hours more on Monday it would be added to about 5 hours of lines. But you also get overtime if you exceed 40 hours for the week plus the additional lines you wouldn't normally get. But to each her/his own.

person said was true. This company is so greedy, they expect us to work like dogs to clean up their mess. Come on, we work for CPL, so give us extra CPL for all work done until the mess is cleared up. We shouldn't have to "qualify" for an incentive since it is their mess we are cleaning up.

the email too and I don't even work on DEP. I will say my goal was cut in half because I had no work. That, I am sure, is how the person below met their goal by noon. Anyway, even if I was on DEP, they can take it and shove it. I would rather have work all the time instead of busting out lines to help them out. I need a paycheck too, but I need one all the time, not just to help them out.

Only lost about $20 last week working PT thanks to their new pay schedule, 99.64% accuracy but 12.78 for QA because of blanks because of their incompetent dictators who don't know how to speak English and their poor quality voice files.  Oh yeah, and I'm getting put on a new accout too!  Aren't I lucky?  Guess I'll be joining the cherry pickers now.  ...

I Have One Dictator Whose Reports Always Have A Bunch Of Blanks In Them

I put so much more time and effort into his work and they always come out looking like Swiss cheese.  QA can fill in about 75% of these with their guesswork.  No way am I going to continue listening over and over again to his bad dictation when they are pretty much hopeless.  I'm going to listen once and that's it -- that way I'll get the most for my money I'll be paying for the QA! ...

I have been reading recent posts regarding testing -- filling in information, etc., and I have never seen such a bunch of paranoid MTs in my life.  I tell the truth regarding my resume, SS#, phone number and experience.  Yes, I HAVE "failed" tests wtih MTTest.com and decided that company postiion was not for me.  My newest job; I was called on the phone, offered the position, had to test, failed the "third written test" but was still hired.  I am making an above average salar ...
