Just curious...has anyone ever gotten a job from their posting on the job wanted board? There seem to be many Mts looking for work. It would be interesting to know how many MTs have work that want to work.

There have been some posts that some MTs found positions, but I didn't get one response to my ad and I went on Craig's List too and nothing.

Yes, I've posted and have gotten a couple of offers, one of which I accepted. These companies were NOT advertising. I say go for it!

I get emails a lot from putting my resume on mtjobs.com and also monster.com

Nothing but spam due to monster.com - faux job offers

I get a lot of "phishing scams" from putting it out there on monster. Letters that start "although you applied for a job with us and the position has been filled...if you are 16-60 years old and have a computer you can do THIS job" No, I NEVER applied to work in sales or for any of these non-MT companies. I even got a couple of phone calls and told the scammer that I NEVER applied for a job with them, and he said "Well, if you put your resume on line, its the same thing as applying". So be careful - they will waste your time and theirs bugging you about questionable "jobs" you never applied for and wouldn't take in a million years.

is there a way to fix the search feature to where you can search for short terms? Right now, it won't let you search for terms like 'QA' or 'MDI' etc. because they're too short. It also limits you to one page of results. The Google search box we used to have worked much better. TIA. ...
