step-by-step instructions of how to handle priority reports?

Not sure what kind of instructions you need/want. Just do the sm - Synernet MT

report and send it in. If it has more than 2 blanks, send it to QA and email them that you sent a priority to QA.

but I am not understanding. Do you mean the original popup box that says you have a priority? You either accept and do the report or decline it. However, it has been my experience that you might as well accept it, because if you decline it, it will just pop up again a few seconds later. If this still doesn't help, why not just call the Helpdesk? Most of the people I have talked with there are very helpful. Good luck!

after I click accept. I was told to call, but I told them it would be better for me to have printed step-by-step instructions due to my horrible memory:) LOL!! Anyway, the questions say something along the lines of close or continue and then something about abort and pause. Very confusing.

priority. However, if I only have a minute or two to go in the dictation I'm on, I go ahead and finish it up and then do the priority. I suppose it could be clearer. If you're new, they throw a lot at you and you're just supposed to take off running. I guess that's why I stay -- too lazy to learn a new job. :-)

What harm did it do you or anyone else for the person to ask a question? I hate to think the day has come when we become "all for me" and cannot show a bit of caring for another human being and try to help, especially when it is something so simple.

Now that you have the answer from Synernet MT, write it down and you'll be on your way.

Priority report - instructions

I found this process confusing at first, too, so I made myself a list:

Priority reports:
1. Click on Accept
2. Pause current dictation
3. Reason? Click on "To work on another report."
4. Close report
5. Keep active? NO
6. Job List. Double click on job
7. Transcribe report and sign off as usual
8. Open the Paused Reports and double click on the report you were working on before you got the priority

The alternative is to accept the priority report but just keep working on your current report. The priority will come up next in your queue. This is what I do.

For step 6, you can also just click on next job.. And after finishing the priority a prompt wlll - come up

I have an interview with them coming up. They seem like they have a good reputation and the benefits look really good. One thing I am wondering about them is just how flexible are the schedules? First the dire email: Mandatory OT by end of week with at least 2 hours on Saturday. Just forget if you had plans for the weekend. Say what time you will be working and have to work those hours and put who okay'd those hours on your timesheet (you might lie you know). So you do that because you want to help the company out and it's nice to have OT again. Anyone out there working for Synernet who has also worked for other companies? I was an IC before joining Synernet a few years ago. They are paying me .7 cpl, no flexibility unless per-diem and then per-diems still have to work 2 holidays a year, lots of vaca time but can't use 2 weeks in the summer until I've been there 10 years, management impossible to get response from regarding any type of question, just got thrown into weekend rotation, etc. After looking at boards I see th ...

Just curious, I'm trying to decide between a few companies and I totally forgot to ask the interviewer. I think the whole VBC thing is criminal. It's bad enough not being paid for all of the research, demographics and CCs we do, but to not pay for characters that we actually type just because they don't print out in black and white is OUTRAGEOUS!!! ...

I was reading the ad posted by Synernet and thought it sounded quite decent, what with benefits and incentive plan, etc., then I noticed their ad has 4 "dislikes." Does anyone who clicked that "dislike" button care to explain here why? If there's something about the company that isn't in line with the ad, I'd love to know before I bother testing and applying.
