It was in Oldsmar and I sure wish it was still in business, the best company I ever worked for by a long shot.

pay was great, people were nice, and lots of work. I sure miss those days.

those days are gone. :( I did hear good things about QT, though. Too bad they folded. Pretty soon it will just be MQ and Transcend and other offshoring entities who care nothing about the US MT.

I liked YOG too. I made 10 cpl (with spaces), had good benefits, and sm - Another genie

they left me alone. There was none of this spyware crap that monitors how long I'm at the keyboard or whatever.

YOG was the BEST. I loved the flexibility but also worked - extra when needed. It felt like a team there. nm

I worked for both QT and YOG and IMO both were equal and both were awesome! Wish they were still around.

Is there a company out there now that could compare? If prior QT'ers or YOG'rs find one, please let me know.

I thought they folded quite awhile back. Are they still around? nm - LTMT

It's on a wrist injury. The word sounds like (it's slurred), but has the sound of - "inishits" The sentence is He has instability of the distal radial ulnar joint. for PT? I'm getting conflicting information from other employees, friends and my CCM. CCM says no medical for PT and someone I know in HR says in CA you are eligible for medical for anything over 24 hours per week, albeit at a higher premium. Yet another person says a company doesn't have to offer medical to anything less than FT. Sigh...... ...

I just saw an ad for a Medical Scribe. The description is that the MT accompanies the doc from room to room to see patients, sits at the computer in the room and transcribes the H&P/procedure while doc is doing the exam. Starting pay was $17/hr with full benefits. Anybody ever heard of this? I think it's a good idea, leaves the doc hands free to tend to the patient. It sounds a little like being a court reporter as far as "live" dictation being done. ...

I have been using a platform for the last 4 years that has the spellchecker. Now I'm looking at work where I would need to have this. I saw Stedman's is $99, ouch. Of course, this is a discharge diagnosis, so I can't just type "HUF" and leave it be. I can't for the life of me figure out what this might be, and I can't find it anywhere. The patient has hematuria with pancytopenia and renal failure. This MD is not an ESL and speaks quite clearly. He is clearly saying "HUF"!!! (Actually he is saying HUF/TTP.)
