Do only the high producers get the grand treatment? - MTstatus

I have requested more work and have been turned down. I have asked for another account and the same thing, turned down. I have been switched over to cover many accounts and when asked was told that the high producers are working on other accounts and I need to switch to cover. Every time I ask about anything at my company, the answer is that is only for the high producers. I produce my required quota of 16,000 lines per pay with 98 or more percent accuracy. I cannot be a high producer right now in my life due to other things going on. Do they even look at how the high producers get their lines or do they care. I just wanted to know if only high producers get the dream jobs and good treatment. My TL also told me that she did not have a new account coming up, but then later admitted that she staffed it with only the high producers. Am I not a good employee or only considered a good employee if I am a high producer?

They must have some reason to hold you back. Did you ask specifically the problem they have with you? That's the only way you're going to find out.

The OP says she gets her line requirements and can't do any more because of what she has going on in her life right now. Then she says she wants more accounts. Why should the MTSO give her more accounts if she is unable to do the work? I don't get it.

[ In Reply To ..]Wow!! I did the math. If a pay period is 2 weeks that is 2,000 lines an hour? If a pay period is 4 weeks, that is 1,000 lines an hour. I cannot help but question this even with VR, or did I read it incorrectly? Even at 1000 lines an hour that's 125 words a minute. hmmm no time for research in that scenario. A person would have to be a walking dictionary to do that, so why be an MT? Wow even at 1000 lines an hour if a person only worked 200 days a year that's $200,000 a year!!!
