Anyone have info on this company - how they are to work for. Do you always remain on the accounts you are hired for?? Do they pay on time?? How is management to work with?? TIA

I'm not familiar with CC, but that cpl rate IMO is ridiculous for an admittedly difficult ESL dictator. Before I accepted the position, I'd want to hear a few samples of just how "difficult" he is, that's for sure.

but I figured it might be an option for a minimal amount of work, but as we know, if the dictator is as difficult as they state it probably is not worth the time testing for the amount of pay being offered. The web site for testing does not test for this particular dictator. It was just a thought I guess and will not pursue with testing.

I didnt mean you shouldnt test or pursue it (my post sounds more Debbie Downer than intended, LOL!). You may find the dictator pretty easy to understand. I know I've a few dictators on my account that other MTs find difficult that I love to do. I guess each set of ears translates things differently?

Anyway, maybe they'd send you a couple of sample voice files of this dictator before you invest all that time in testing? I think CC's testing is done through that MTTest site, so I'm assuming testing will be at least a couple of hours (ew). It would be a shame to waste that kind of time and brainpower to find the dictator is just flat-out unintelligible.

Good luck whichever way you decide to go with this one and if you're able to get sample voice files of how "difficult" the dictator is, let us know.

They will not send sample voice files of this dictator until you test through that god-awful test site so many use. I do not need my umbrella - LOL. Like you stated it would be a shame to waste all that time testing and find out the dictator is worse than they stated. I do not think it is worth the aggravation when compared to the pay. I did not have enough caffeine when I posted my original question. I do agree with the fact that one dictator may be difficult to one person and may be a dream dictator for someone else. If the pay being offered was more - I may reconsider, but at this point I will decline testing.

MAYBE (and that's a BIG maybe) if it were a dream dictator who had some normals that could be pulled in it might be a money-maker, but that low cpl combined with what the MTSO admits is a "difficult dictator" just sounds like a one-way ticket to the poorhouse, LOL!

I guess it's good they've admitted the dictator is "difficult," but they really should provide some samples before wasting the time of skilled MTs, especially at THAT rate.

These companies want the moon and the stars from us but then give so little in return...That pay rate is ridiculously low for a difficult ESL, and then to not supply a sample of his dictation? Soooo glad I'm on my way out of this industry.

I CANNOT SAY THIS ENOUGH.DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY CLEAR CHOICE TRANSCRIPTION! I have been with them over a month now and have yet to make any money. Their supervisor, is the rudest person I have ever come in contact with. When you complain about the lack of training and the rudeness of the supervisors, she makes excuses! Clear Choice Transcription is clearly a joke. The only reputable person at the company is the recruiter. Once you're handed off to the trainer you're screwed. Training there could be taught by a 1st grader. They rush through training and expect you to catch on in 15 minutes. Most of my questions, even after hired were answered by the recruiter.
