Does anyone know if this is a good company. They offered me a position today and I'm on the fence.

Thanks to all who sent me info and now it is clear that the former owner of Davis Transcription is the owner of Clear Choice our of Penn. which if all you have said is even half true, I'll steer totally clear!!!! Hard to find a good MT job these days......

Thanks for the feedback. I had a bad instinct about them as they responded way too fast with all sorts of documents and contract which most companies don't typically do so quickly, so figured they were desperate.

Do you know this from experience that they are rude or from someone who actually works there? I am on the fence as well and can't find much of anything, let alone their low rates. I'm desparate to find work, but not that desparate if this is true.

With any company you are looking to hire on with, you as the MT are the responsible one for being a productive worker. If the company pays on time, offers you incentives for your hard work etc, this is a good company. I have heard CCT is one of those good ones. In the end though it's up to you. There's too much company-bashing on this site. It's really sad and I doubt many experienced MTs really come here anymore because of that.

I have recently seen several ads posted for Clear Choice Transcription. I see that now they are seeking new grads for these positions. I CANNOT SAY THIS ENOUGH.DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY CLEAR CHOICE TRANSCRIPTION! I have been with them over a month now and have yet to make any money. Their supervisor, is the rudest person I have ever come in contact with. When you complain about the lack of training and the rudeness of the supervisors, she makes excuses! Clear Choice Transcription is clearly a joke. The only reputable person at the company is the recruiter. Once you're handed off to the trainer you're screwed. Training there could be taught by a 1st grader. They rush through training and expect you to catch on in 15 minutes. Most of my questions, even after hired were answered by the recruiter.
