Is Clear Choice Transcription a scam? - cashstrapped

I was reading through the archives, and someone said that they were affiated with Davis Transcription, which was a scam company.

Is this true, or is Clear Choice okay to work for? Do they pay on time?

Sorry to ask again, but I'd like to know before I make the wrong decision.

I tested for them and was told I didn't pass the test. It seemed fairly easy to me and they said I flunked it. Then I was directed to a school for medical transcription so I thought maybe their ad was just an opportunity to get you to take a course affiliated with their company. That is just my opinion though.

Getting paid, so I'm trying to get as many opinions as I can. My bank account is LOW, so working 2 weeks with no pay would do me in financially and mentally.

You get paid every 2 weeks and they do not hold a check back from you. I work part time there any like it

I do not know of ANY company that would pay any sooner than that. In fact, I have worked for some that it was 3-4 weeks, which was almost impossible to do but I think 2 weeks in the standard. You might luck out though. I guess it all depends on when and where you start in their pay period. Even my local account, I get paid on a 2-week basis. Best wishes though. I am broke myself and needed another check YESTERDAY since my 2-week have been so short anyway due to lack of work.

I can't work two weeks and not get paid. You know, work for two weeks and find out it's a scam when they don't pay you on payday. I know I'll have to wait pretty much for two weeks no matter where I work. :)

OOPs Sorry. I misunderstood. I love MTs who actually work three months or longer and never get paid - Not working for free either.

and then are really upset. I cannot EVEN imagine who could or would do that. When it comes to my pay, I am never going down that road of broken dreams and promises to pay but month after month, they lie. You have two weeks, three MAX to get me my check and then I quit working for you.

I CANNOT SAY THIS ENOUGH.DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY CLEAR CHOICE TRANSCRIPTION! I have been with them over a month now and have yet to make any money. Their supervisor, is the rudest person I have ever come in contact with. When you complain about the lack of training and the rudeness of the supervisors, she makes excuses! Clear Choice Transcription is clearly a joke. The only reputable person at the company is the recruiter. Once you're handed off to the trainer you're screwed. Training there could be taught by a 1st grader. They rush through training and expect you to catch on in 15 minutes. Most of my questions, even after hired were answered by the recruiter. There's no such person, no such TV station. If you look closely, top of screen has word ADVERTORIAL on status line.
