I was sent a contract and letter of hire for the QA position posted on MTstars from this company. Can anyone give me any current information on this company? TIA

I was an MT there for a short time. They are a great company. Their pay was on time, etc.

why did you leave? By the way I see you are interested in World Wide. If this is the company by Doug Ofner, I worked there years ago. When I worked there it was a good company. I do not know what has happened since. I do understand from things I have seen posted that they ran into some troubles, but I am not sure.

I received an offer from them and another company at the same time. Took both, as I did not know what would be the better fit. The other company had loads and loads of work and I liked the dictators better, that is about it.

On World Wide...I got everything set up with them yesterday, but my foot pedal is not compatible so I ordered one and can hopefully get going next week. I hope it turns out ok. Things fell through at my last job and I am working for a small MTSO with not a lot of work, so hopefully this will fill the cracks.

I will have to look into troubles they may have had...I never head any info on them, so just proceded with the offer.

Things did not add up for me when I was there and when I asked for a detailed bill, it took a few times before I would get it. Also, they over-hired and we would go a couple of weeks at a time without work - 10 jobs a day for who knows how many of us. The accounting dept also wouldn't tell me if pay was calculated with or without spaces - I was hired at WITH spaces, but wasn't getting paid for them. I asked them in writing, cc'ing the pres and my direct manager, and no one would give me any answers so I resigned. I found it really difficult to get any answers if they would benefit me, but they were quick to get on the IM for something they wanted from you. The tech guy is an absolute gem, though :)

I CANNOT SAY THIS ENOUGH.DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY CLEAR CHOICE TRANSCRIPTION! I have been with them over a month now and have yet to make any money. Their supervisor, is the rudest person I have ever come in contact with. When you complain about the lack of training and the rudeness of the supervisors, she makes excuses! Clear Choice Transcription is clearly a joke. The only reputable person at the company is the recruiter. Once you're handed off to the trainer you're screwed. Training there could be taught by a 1st grader. They rush through training and expect you to catch on in 15 minutes. Most of my questions, even after hired were answered by the recruiter. I sent my resume in and just heard back last week asking if I was still interested. She sent a brief little word document with some account specs, cpl and paydates--no contract, HIPAA agreement, etc. I did three voice files the first day.
