There are times you'll come across jobs that'll take you with no experience or a new certified coder. They're hard to come by but they're out there. Also, you can do internships that count as experience. I also belong to my local AAPC chapter and never hear anything about outsourcing there either. It's a growing industry and I'd encourage you to do your research and come to your own conclusions and go from there.
