don't put yourself through the same thing you've gone through as an MT. If you would join a few coding FB pages, you would see lots of talk of outsourcing/offshoring, large Indian company involvement (sound familiar?), metrics as bad if not worse than MT, and lots of competition with seasoned coders for jobs. Could you find a work at home job shortly after certification? Possible but not likely. Do your research, please. There are enough heartbreaking stories on here about MT without hearing more.
