Thank you for elevating the debate and pointing out that there is quite a difference between professional expander programs such as Shorthand & Instant Text and Autocorrect.
As much as an expander program is a personal choice, there is no good reason not to discuss differences, and you dared to do so. Congratulations.
Not to convince you to change expanders, after 15 years - just for your information and for future users (there always will be a need to speed up text input with computers and corrections with speech editing) below is a link to the Command menu in Instant Text 7 allowing what you were missing way back, 15 years ago. :-)
