There was, apparently, once a person who typed (this was before editing) 4,000 lines a day. A management official told me this so I don't know how true it was but I would think that that would be durn near impossible to do physically. Maybe if you had a very good account that had lots and lots of work and a Dvorak keyboard that you were highly proficient at. Otherwise, I don't see how a person could do that much per day. However, I know there are some lucky enough to be outliers and you must be one of those. Most of us make terrible money -- in a lot of cases even less than hamburger flippers. That is not right.
