I been having trouble recognizing the what the doctor is saying.....the sentence goes like this:
" PREOPERATIVE DIAGNOSIS: Large lipoma, left (s/l thalla) scapular."
The doctor goes on to dictate removal of this lipoma. Any help with the missing word would be much appreciated. I can't find any reference to anything that sounds like thalla or pallla.
Under 'FINDINGS' the doctor dictates: "A 7-cm, large, lipoma in the left (s/l thalla) scapular area intimately associated with the fascia of the back muscles."
Thanks very much in advance.
